1001degustations.com was created by wine lovers to respond to the information needs of gourmets and other wine lovers. We regularly blind taste wines and products, we note them, advise you and guide you.We do not sell bottles or products and refer you to those whose job it is to do so.

Jury

The committee is made up of wine professionals (restaurant owners, sommeliers, oenologists, wine producers, wine brokers) as well as competent wine and food lovers.
Products are tasted by family, region and origin. Wines are tasted in coherence with vintages and appellations.They are evaluated individually before discussion with the jury for the final mark and comments.

Marks

For each wine, a mark is given for the colour, nose and taste-related qualities.
Each product is marked using specifics standards according to its family (olive oil = acidity, beer = foam etc...), according to its appearance, smell, structure, gustatory qualities.
Judges' favourite : These wines and products are particularly good value for money or attracted special attention from the panel.

Controls

We take regular samples from sales points to make sure the samples tasted correspond to wines found in stores or sold at the vineyard.
