At the end of the 1930’s, Riccardo Ceretto founded the original nucleus of the family business in Alba.

Since then, the objective has been to select and acquire vineyards, in particularly good locations, in the Langhe and Roero regions, creating a group of small companies, each independent in terms of production but dependent upon the main Ceretto headquarters for commercialization.

In the 1960’s, Bruno and Marcello joined their father in the family business and began an attentive and successful expansion...

In the 1960’s, Bruno and Marcello joined their father in the family business and began an attentive and successful expansion. Bruno dedicated himself to the commercial aspect while Marcello took over the technical direction.

Now, the Ceretto company owns more than 100 hectares of the best “cru” in the areas of Barolo, Barbaresco, Dolcetto, Moscato and Arneis.

In 2000 the 4 children, Alessandro, Federico, Lisa and Roberta joined the family business.
