Le grenat soutenu annonce la couleur : un nez de fruits noirs, légèrement boisé ainsi qu'une pointe d'épices et de menthol. Il y a du gras avec un fruit assez dense, une belle charpente avec pêle-mêle pruneau, réglisse et sous-bois. Un appel du pied pour une belle pièce de viande grillée ou rôtie.
