Over an area of 3.200 hectares comprising the vineyards of BODEGAS LA PURISIMA, our field technicians select the best plots for the production of each type of wine. We carry out careful controls during all phases of growing, from planting through to harvesting. Passion and technology at the service of quality, only the grapes fulfilling the highest quality and maturation standard are selected for our range of bottled wines, ranging from surprising young wines all the way through to the distinguished 3-years-Crianzas or our Reserve. Our master winemakers know how to find the balance between tradition, art, production technology and passion for creating amazingly attractive wines.
Over 50 years of wine creation reflects the longstanding tradition of BODEGAS LA PURISIMA, with a history of dedication to the vines and vineyards of a demanding Denomination of Origin, which our bodega has honoured harvest after harvest through the production of outstanding Yecla wines. Monastrell the identity of a land; the identity of our bodega and the lands of Yecla are closely connected to the personality of our widely recognised and appreciated Monastrell, a variety that is pampered through painstaking growing and vinification methods, continuing to surprise the wine world due to its excellent ageing qualities and the unmistakable character it gives to our wines.
BODEGAS LA PURISIMA fue creada en 1946 para aprovechar la excelente calidad de los vinos de Yecla que cuentan con una D.O. propia, que abarca el término municipal. Se diferencian 2 zonas, Campo Arriba (con una altitud entre 600 a 900 mts. sobre el nivel del mar) y con una tierra mas seca y pedregosa y Campo Abajo, formado en los valles yeclanos a una altitud entre 400 a 600 mts. La uva mas importante y característica de la zona es la Monastrell, casi el 80% de la producción pero también se cultiva Syrah, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Macabeo, Aireen, Garnacha y Sauvignon Blanc. De los cuales el 60% de lo cultivado en la D.O. Yecla es producido y gestionado por BODEGAS LA PURISIMA. Tenemos una amplia gama de producto que va desde los vinos jóvenes Estio (Blanco, Rosado y Tinto), los Valcorso que son monovarietales (Macabeo fermentado en barrica, Merlot, Syrah, Monastrell Barrica, Cabernet Sauvignon), Ecológicos (Valcorso y Estío Tintos ambos elaborados con Monastrell de cultivo orgánico 100%), Iglesia Vieja Crianza e Iglesia Vieja Reserva, IV Expresión un vino de autor elaborado con un “coupage” de Monastrell, Syrah y Garnacha, Trapio 100% Monastrell de viñedos de pie franco situados en Campo arriba de más de 50 años de antigüedad, Enesencia vino dulce de pasificación natural, BiB Campules, en 3, 5 y 15 litros (Blanco, Rosado y Tinto) de la misma calidad que el Estio. En fin, una amplia gama para satisfacer a todos los consumidores y donde primamos la calidad sobre la cantidad a la hora de elaborar nuestros vinos.
