Gin producers like to tell fairy tales. Storytelling is what they call it in the sales brochures that you never get to see.

That’s what we actually like to do, tell the fairy tale. Only not when it comes to gin.

So, unfortunately, there is no fairy tale about an ancient recipe that we found in a box from the last century in Grandpa Montgomery’s attic. Or that the inspiration for this gin came to us while climbing the Himalayas. Or that we found a dusty copper distillery in an old farmhouse shed.

We just sat together at the bar, drank boring gin, and said we could do better.

And then we just did it.
