Today Giovanni Moretti, his brother Elio and his son Adriano, learning from their ancients’ experience, continue to guide the company towards a future not only characterized by fruits and vegetables production and quality wines, but also by a great focus on wellcome and on didactics.

The word “Bajaj” derives from the piedmontese dialect “bajé” that means “yawning” , “dozing”.
The use of name “Bajaj” comes from the tradition diffused in the area, of giving “nicknames” to the families to be distinguished. These nicknames were usually linked to a physical or character characteristic of amember of the family, or to the job.

In this case, the elders of the village tell that the Lenoris family (maternal family of Giovanni) was called like this because it was composed by quiet people, working hard, but also singing and doing party if necessary!

Also the origin of the family is curious: Giovanni and Elio’s grandparents were two orphans. Their provenance is still a mistery…

The bottles production is now of 15.000: Arneis, Favorita, Rosè of Nebbiolo, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Birbet, Roero and two special wines with aging in amphora: an Arneis and a Nebbiolo.
