Since the end of the 1700s, Fattoria dei Barbi is the property of the Cinelli Colombini family, who have owned land in Montalcino since 1352. It extends over 400 hectares of fields and vineyards in southern Tuscany at Montalcino and Scansano. Since 1892 it has produced Brunello and was the first to export this wine to Europe, America and Asia. Our philosophy is to study and understand the most modern technologies and use them to complement our best traditions without changing the original characteristics of our products.
