Settled in Montefalco around the Twenties of the '900, the Valentini’s family devotes themselves to the agriculture immediately, with particular attention to the grapewine and the grinding of the olives, cultivated on the sweet hills in Alzatura. This link with the generous products of that land becomes stronger from year to year, so much to inspire the nickname of the family, Bocale (written Vocale), dialect term to indicate both the glass of wine and the straw-covered bottle of oil of two liters capacity.
The thread of the history is taken up by the new generations, that devote themselves to the production of wine with great enthusiasm today, renewing the traditional work with a small farm of five hectares called Bocale.
