Description de Weingut St. Urbans-hof : Nikolaus (Nik) Weis is the third generation of his family to manage the winery founded by his grandfather, Nicolaus Weis, in 1947. He cultivates 33 hectares vineyards in the Mosel and Saar Valleys. The winery is dedicated to producing Rieslings that capture the individual terroir of the estate`s vineyard sites. These are for example “Piesporter Goldtröpfchen” and “Ockfener Bockstein”. St. Urbans-Hof is member of the VDP (German Association of Praedikat and Quality Wine Estates).
