Description de Esterházy Wein : The centuries-old cultural achievements of the House of Esterházy in the region of the Pannonian plain are well known. Winemaking also has a long tradition; the House of Esterházy has devoted itself to growing wine in Burgenland since the 17th century.
In 65 ha of vineyards the Esterházy family produces traditional Austrian varieties as well as international ones with great success.
In 2006 a new state-of-the-art winery was erected in Trausdorf, Burgenland.
